Product Description
Region
Yarra Valley.
Appearance
Classic partridge eye pink.
Bouquet
Sweet lifted Pinot aromatics, hints of grilled nuts and marzipan.
Palate
Soft, textural and slightly savoury, gentle flavours with some good drying acidity.
Vintage Conditions
At last, some good rain during the growing season. A cool December and moderate January to March period kept natural acidity at good levels. Some harvest rain kept us on our toes with disease, but we know that the humid years give us some of the best quality.
Winemaking
Fruit is grown on three sites from our Yarra Valley vineyards. We include all of the pressings from each parcel as these are important for flavour and texture. The wine is fermented in old French casks using
indigenous yeasts with a little stirring of the lees at the end. The wine is pale, textural and delicious - perfect for summer drinking or as an aperitif all year round.
