Medium straw, some green edges.
Bouquet
Richer style with waves of ripe fruit. Scents of honey, toastiness and hazelnuts add layers of complexity and nuance.

Vibrant and fresh, good detail with hints of graphite and minerality, fine creamy texture.
Vintage Conditions
2006 was the last of the cool vintages in the decade. Beautiful growing season, cool ripening conditions, timely rainfall; a mug could have made good wine.
Winemaking
Fruit is hand sorted and whole bunch pressed directly to cask. The base wines undergo natural fermentation in older casks and sit on lees until spring. The cuvee is assembled from the two components and tiraged for secondary bottle fermentation. The wine is left to ferment and age on lees for 4 years before hand riddling, disgorging, corking and finishing.
