APPEARANCE: Crimson red with garnet hues.

BOUQUET: Red Plum, raspberry with background of allspice and vanilla bean oak.

PALATE: Black plum with hints of candied cherries, lingering vanillin oak and sophisticated, rounding tannins.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS: A terrific season throughout Victoria with relatively warm, dry conditions and balanced crops.

WINEMAKING: Fruit was selected by the winemaker and picked when both flavour and tannins were optimum. Cold soaked and fermented over 7 days. Cool temperatures of 22.0-25.0°C maintained to retain fresh fruit. 100% Malolactic Fermentation.
