Qty Product Name Price

Region: Riverina

Appearance: Pale straw in colour with a lively green tinge.

Bouquet: The nose displays freshly crushed grapes, with a little musk and a hint of lime juice.

Palate: The palate is lively and fresh as one would expect from a frizzante style wine. The palate tastes of freshly crushed grapes with just a squeeze of lemon & ginger on the finish.

Suggested Cuisine: Pear, honey cream & muntries

General Characteristics: Sweet / Light Bodied

Vintage Conditions: Warmer temperatures and above average Winter–Spring rains made for an early budburst. A few loads of fruit beat the late January rains but things slowed up for a week until we dried out. Perfect dry conditions followed for the rest of vintage, with the added soil moisture keeping night time temperatures lower then usual. This allowed the fruit to retain fresh acid in whites and good colour/flavour in reds. 2016 will be remembered as one of the earliest and most compressed vintages on record with harvest over mid March.

Winemaking: Fruit was sourced from vineyards that were well protected from the harsh sun and which displayed the intensity required for this style of wine. Blend of White Frontignac & Muscat Gordo Blanco. The fruit was picked and pressed cold, in new state of the art bag presses. Juice was left to settle naturally and then racked clean. The wine was fermented cold to retain fresh fruit characters. Fermentation was stopped once a balance was reached between alcohol, sweetness, acidity and bubbles.

Wine Analysis: Alc/Vol: 8.00 % pH: 3.22 TA: 5.70 g/L

Cellaring: Best while young & fresh, but will cellar for many years.
