In 1994, the De Bortoli family planted the BellaRiva vineyard on the King River at the base of the Victorian Snowfields. With strong Italian heritage of both our family and region, Mediterranean varieties were chosen and planted. This new range of wines celebrates both the natural beauty of the King Valley and the vibrancy and innovation of this emerging wine region. BellaRiva in Italian means beautiful riverbank - a fitting description for the spectacular location of De Bortoli’s picturesque vineyards on 3.5 kms of King River frontage.
